The construction of the International “Jalal-Abad” Airport is actively underway in Bagysh rural area of Suzak district. The project aims to establish a key aviation hub in the southern region of the country.
In the Bagysh rural area of Suzak district, one of the country’s strategically important infrastructure projects is being actively implemented — the construction of the International “Jalal-Abad” Airport.
The total project area covers 381 hectares, creating significant opportunities for the development of transport logistics and expansion of international connectivity.
Currently, construction works are progressing according to the approved schedule, with key stages successfully completed:
- Earthworks for the runway and apron are 80% complete
- Construction of the airport terminal complex is actively ongoing
- The terminal building has been erected up to the second floor
